  • Course Description

    Course overview The course main target is to provide the candidate with all the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work as a Close Protection officer in not only celebrity and executive environments but also within the Hostile environments and armed protection sector as soon as they complete the 28 day intensive program. The course will use minimum of classroom lectures with maximum of realistic and practical field training exercises to provide a full understanding of close protection operations worldwide. The CPO Course includes the overall knowledge within 'Business' and 'Dignitary' areas of Close Protection, and its training program is based on the proven training methods. The Course is approved by HABC and allows those that Graduate to apply for the SIA license within 2 weeks due to our Direct centre status with the International Awarding Body for compliance. The training will expose the participants to a unique experience, and unprecedented level of expertise, which was accumulated by our Instructors in the territory of High Risk Countries around the world during protection missions. The total environmental conditions, the climate and the population are as real and most suitable for the simulation of Executive and Hostile Protection training. All tasks are designed strictly for tactical response methods in High Risk protection tasking

    Programme Registration Check List In order to sit relevant examinations during the programme, please ensure that you bring the following documentation with you on the first day of the training programme: 1. Original ID documents (see list below): a. 1 x Primary ID and 2 x Proof of address or; b. 2 x Primary ID. 2. Photocopies of all original ID documents (as above). 3. Two passport size photographs (colour with white background). Proof of Identification documents

  • Qualification or certification that successful delegates receive?

  • Is there an exam?

    Assessment WEAPONS: Pistols Glock 17, Glock 19, Beretta 92F, Carbines: AK47 and M4 Simunition Glock 17, M4 and AK47 SKILL PREREQUISITES: None. The candidate does not have to possess prior experience in Close Protection. GEAR: Casual clothing, rain / weather gear and business clothing (slacks, jacket, tie and appropriate shoes), tactical cargo pants, tactical belt, sport kit. METHODS: This course will be taught using classroom lectures and practical exercises conducted at our specially designed Rural Surveillance location and Urban and Woodland Tactical Shooting area for live drills. Students are required to successfully pass the following assessments:
